The building is lovely and the rooms comfortable. The price was right. I stayed there to cycle along the Brenta; the hotel rents bicycles. It was a nice idea but there are no bike paths so the competition with cars on narrow roads can get kind of hairy.
Casa a Colori is a fair hike out of Dolo and, once there, there is some noise from the road. There is no fan or ventilation. Since there were so few fellow guests, I left my door open all night for cross-ventilation but it would have been stifling if I wasn't able to do that.

Helpful stuff, good location in a quiet place, nice view from the windows, excellent value for money. Venice is in 40 minutes by bus. But Dolo itself is a pretty good place.
Shower cabin was too small though bathroom itself was large enough for the bigger one. Someone could complain about breakfast - just croissants with jam or butter and cereal with milk. But for me it was enough.

The English speaking staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The design of the hotel is very nice (conversion from monastery to hotel).
No fridge present in the room.

The room was clean and good. We had separate heating system with a full control by us. There is cabel TV and the bathroom is ok. The personal is very kind. I like the hotel and for the proce is excelent. There is a city trasnposrt to Venezia every 30 min. From the hotel to Dolo's ciry center is 10 - 15 min.
Maybe is a little bit noisy from the corridor. We heared the steps from other people and talking.

The room was spacious, clean and modern.
Breakfast was ordinary as was staff's knowledge of local attractions and transport. There were no time tables or tourist information provided.

not far from Venice, great view through windows. English talking staff, that was very rare in our trip through Italy. The place was just great.
breakfast was simple and not very delicious.

Very helpful young lady in the reception of this hotel. Quiet place and the building is a nice old monastery with some of it's charming. By the way, Dolo (the village) is also a nice place were you can give a good bicycle ride.
The room air conditioned apparently was not in working conditions (nevertheless did not check this with the hotel personal). The breakfast is somehow basic.

If you looking for a cheap room, this hotel can be acceptable. If you looking for good position and luxury, this hotel can't be what you looking for.

It was a nice experience to stay at a renovated old monastery. The inside of the building as well as the rooms are well renovated, clean and not old by any means. The staff is also very helpful.
Open buffet breakfast is not as what we expected. There is not much variety.

It was a pleasant surprise to find Casa Colori a very comfortable room with internet access and a heating system very ingenious; you can make hotter or colder in your room, very clean, staff very friendly (especially the blue eyed girl) a very quiet location at 10 min from the center of Dolo. The special building that was a monastery long time ago is modernly renewed in a manner that preserves the old brick building with beautiful arches. Another good point is that on the road to the center we found a mini market with everything you need opened until 10pm.
Nothing salted at breakfast. I strongly recommend salted biscuits or anything that is not sweet.
